Right. So we moved house a month ago. We, that is baby Nadia and yours truly. We left rainy beery Belgium to move to sunny winey Alsacia. The idea was to come and live under the same roof with Nadia’s wonderful daddy and my adorable sweetheart, the cutest and sweetest French Alsatian bloke you could ever hope to meet. Or just the cutest and sweetest bloke ever. Full stop.
I fell in love in him, the Alsatian cutie that is, two years ago while travelling (what else?)to India.
Speaking of love and falling into it, I have always been in love with anything related to France: the language, the country, their chic way of dressing up and…(un)dressing down ( nobody does it like the French, trust me!), the food. Anything, you name it. Basically, I love languages, to the point that I made it my daily bread earning source. But I also love plenty of other things : I love children ( and most of all my beautiful baby, Nadia), I love travelling, teaching, astrology, personal development, good food, the mountains, gymnastics ( my daughter’s name is Nadia, right?).
But hey, that is not what I was going to talk to you about. Rather, I was thinking about telling you what our (new) blog is about. As the name suggests this blog is about…hummm, well travelling, and astro(logy) and mama (motherhood that is, or rather the way I experience it, or better said, the way I enjoy it every day).
So, welcome everyone to the launch of our beautiful blog on travelling, astrology and parenting ( oh, dear, does that sound arrogant or what?) which is part of our equally beautiful and complex project called DIWINATURA. DI for Diana, WI for William and NA for Nadia. You will be privy to the way our family is growing (sic!) and evolving, but above all you will be given priceless tips on how to enjoy parenthood through a different prism, i.e that of astrology.
Now, we are very special (extra-ordinary sounded way too arrogant) family. We live our lives beautifully, with passion and joy. And we are thankful for it and express our gratitude for what we have every day. Oh, I hear you…so are many other families. And right you are. But, when I said we are special ( as in not ordinary) I meant we live our lives beautifully…in four countries at the same time ( France, Romania, Switzerland and Belgium). We are by no means ubiquitous nor do we claim to be, but Life ( capital L) has shown us that we have very much to learn from being open to all the possibilities it has to offer. So, to make it brief: we are always in between planes and making travel arrangements is part of our daily routine and quasi tantamount to brushing our teeth. And we enjoy that to the max.
We have gathered some experience in that area and we we thought that everything that was useful to us will come in handy to you too.
As stated a couple of paragraphs above, I love astrology. But I went one step further and moved on from being a mere astrology lover to an astrology scholar. Well, no not really. But after years and years of teaching myself astrology through reading books and articles on the topic and having experienced first hand the benefits of astrology as a therapeutical tool, a few years ago I enrolled in a real astrology course and I am proud to say that later this month I am starting my fourth year as a student in Structural Astrology.
Moreover, ever since my beautiful baby Nadia was born, I have seen for myself how useful all this knowledge that I have gathered about astrology is. It helps me understand so many of my cutie’s reactions, behaviours and needs. And being the generous person that I like to think I am ( I am a Leo, as you may have guessed) I immediately thought that I want to share this helpful knowledge with all of you mums and dads out there.
So, fasten your seat belts, sit back and enjoy your…read.
